 Fall/Early Winter 2005 New Headquarters Malcolm Designs Ltd. moved to a new location at 12 South Pasture Lane on Nantucket on July, 21st, 2005. The house was renovated by Rob Andersen Construction and designed by myself, Rob and architect Chip Webster. A special shout-out to those guys in making this dream a reality! The house is very contemporary and has solar powered radiant heat and domestic hot water. Photos of the project can be seen here nantucketbungalow.com. I am building a real site for the house this winter with the complete restoration and details. Another site is being built for Nantucket Solar® selling solar panels for producing hot water and heat, not for making electric. Projects Summer, July and August are the slowest months for business. Some of the latest projects this summer were for EchoTarget® a web marketing company based in NJ. I helped create their logo and designed the companie's website echotaget.com. Created a logo, business cards, brochure and website for a coool toy box company based in Portland, OR Via Toy Box viatoybox.com. Launched a site for a women's clothing store on Nantucket, VIS A VIS visavis.com, and helping them with the marketing and promotion. Another new website for a cutting board company nantucketcuttingboards.com. Two projects for Nantucket restaurants: For 21 Federal print piece with summer 2005 events and website 21federal.com. The Club Car, a new website theclubcar.com. Jobs under development for Nantucket Lighthouse School, a new website and web, print, t-shirts, advertising, marketing for coffee company Nantucket Coffee Roasters and their retail store The Bean. Another long and awaited job this winter is the long overdue website for my favorite restaurant Black-Eyed Susans! Keep checking back for the latest updates. There will be a hug update to the photography section of the site. Nantucket Food & Wine Speaking of Nantucket restaurants, two summers ago I started a new business Nantucket Food & Wine. It's an online magazine that celebrates dining, food, wine and living on Nantucket Island. The website nantucketfoodandwine.com was launched June 30th 2003 and gets great traffic and feedback. The site features Nantucket chefs, food, restaurants, and everything that has do with food and wine on the island. I have been to busy to add new content to the site, but plan on updating new content for Fall 2005 and this winter. I'm also simplifying the site.
