I collect Matchbox® Regular wheel and Transitional Superfast. "Regular" wheel refers to the Black plastic wheels with heavy duty axels (late '50s-1969). In late 1969 Matchbox® changed the wheel style to a faster wheel called "Superfast" to compete with the overnight success of Hot Wheels® in the USA. "Transitional" refers to using the older model body styles with the new Superfast wheel. My favorites to collect are all the cars from the 1969 and 1970 catalogs.
